We meet in the afternoon of the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 2.00pm
in the Scout Hut by the Leisure Centre.

Whether it’s quilting, embroidery, cross stitch, knitting or crochet our friendly group usually has someone who has experience to help. You will be very welcome to join us (including gentlemen who appear to be very good at cross stitch). Future projects will include cushions and bag making. Or, bring your own projects which are not yet finished!
In 2014, members of the group completed this lovely single quilt, which was made by each individual group member making up a square. The quilt was then offered in a raffle within the U3A to raise money for a donation to
The Children’s Hospice South West.
The raffle took place at our Open Day meeting in June, raising £300 for the charity.
